I had high expectations, but these turned out to be fairly poor.

I purchased a couple of these thinking they would be as good as flowlights. The colors are great, and make for excellent hand-held LED glowsticks for dancing.

However, when spun, these are very delicate. I heard on other sites that these broke by smashing into one another, but the hard plastic outside will protect the innards. You will only damage these if you smash them against a hard surface, like cement.

When using the lighted functions, these will automatically shut off if they have the slightest impact. It makes practicing with the lights on very difficult (you have to be almost perfect).

The sensitivity varies. For example, one of the lights will shut off if I drop it to the length of my poi's chain, so I have to carefully lower it into position before spinning. Very annoying.

Again - cheap, it's great. Why not try them out? If you're serious, then jump right into flowlights.

Weight: VERY light. Too light for poi heads unless you attach something.
