All of our hula hoops break down, (meaning they are portable,) into three sections, giving you the benefit of being able to take your hoop anywhere. I've carried mine on the plane, in my yoga bag and even strapped it to my pack and backpacked through Central America!
To give you the most bang for you buck, we allow you to customize your hula hoop just the way you like it. You can have your hoop taped and choose the colors/design. You choose the diameter, tubing size and weight!
Please allow up to 5 days to make and ship out your custom hoop.
Hula Hoop Diameter
This is measured from outside edge of the hoop to outside edge. 39" is the most common size people get. 38" - 41" seems to be the most common range of sizes.
I'm a beginning hooper, can you help choose which hula hoop I should get?
I would suggest starting with a hoop that comes about 1 inch below your belly button. A normal weight will be just heavy enough to help you get going and still light enough to learn some new tricks.
Whats with the "Sanded" option?
A lot of hoopers are going for lighter and lighter hoops, so having a sanded hoop will still give you the grip that you need and it gives you the benefit of a super light hoop.
